Buying an Irrigation Engine?
National and State Incentives Available!

The National Propane Education and Research Council has announced changes to its propane engine incentive regarding what has formally been known as the FEED program.  This agriculture based program is the cornerstone of the national incentive program for propane irrigation engines and other engines. Producers who enroll in the program are offered a financial incentive in exchange for recording performance data of the equipment being tested.

The new program will still be able to be combined with the upcoming state incentive providing incentives from $600 to $4,100 depending on equipment used. Please log on to www.agpropane.com to get more information about the national program and to apply for the incentive.  You will NOT need to fill out an application for both the national and state incentive - if you fill out the national application, it will be forwarded to the state program.  The state program will also offer a $750 incentive that can be used with the national incentive.  We anticipate that both programs will sell out quickly, so please check it out now!

NPERC also has available incentives for Propane powered Grain Dryers, Generators, Swine and Greenhouse heaters and Flame Weed Control Check these out at www.agpropane.com also.

LOOK WHAT'S NEW!

The second 500,000 grain bin in Palmyra is taking shape.  The bin is completely erected.  The new 12,000 b.p.h. leg and receiving pit are nearly finished.  At this time, the receiving and fill conveyors still need to be installed.  Electricians are in the process of wiring the entire project.  This facility will easily be ready for next falls harvest.

On March 19th, we began excavation at our Elk Creek facility to make way for increased grain storage.  We will be putting in two 100,000 bushel bins, a new 12,000 b.p.h leg with dual receiving pits.  We hope to have the concrete crew in soon to begin their work and continue to progress to have this operational for the 2013 fall harvest.

We've also begun work on a new receiving leg and receiving pits at our downtown Tecumseh facility.  The two new receiving pits and the 10,000 b.p.h. leg will certainly reduce the amount of time you spend in line waiting to dump your bushels.  Excavation is complete and concrete crews are on site, preparing for the new equipment to be installed.  This will be ready for the 2013 fall harvest.

We are also adding on to the warehouse at our East Facility in Waverly.  The footings and stem walls have been poured and we are anxiously waiting for the building to be delivered to the site.  Our goal is to have this operational before the Spring agronomy rush.
